I came up with Joannie Flamenco a year ago, before Punch-Out wii came out. I named her Lil Joannie.

I thought her story would be:
Joannine Flamenco was the best boxer in Punch-Out history, after Lil Mac. She was called Lil Joannie, cuz she is short. No one knew who she was before then, but people knew she came from Spain, besides that's where she grew up in. She enjoyed working out in gyms, likes to go watch bull fighting, but all she loves is boxing. She loves boxing ever since she was 13, and started watching some boxing matches of Lil Mac. He's an inspiration for Joannie that she trained hard to fulfill her dream.

During her life, she's been alone after her mother passed away, Joannie doesn't know where else to go. At age 17, she came across a Fair. While she was walking through the crown she bump into a tall guy. She didn't know that he was a wrestler, but this guy is Russian. The Red Tornado is his wrestling name, they both started talking to each other, seeing each other, and dating. They were inseparable.

Even though in her life, she never knew who her father was. She never knew that Don Flamenco was her father. Not even Don Flamenco knew he had a daughter. Joannie wanted to know. Her mother gave an enveloper for Joannie, before she was dying, she told her to open it on her 18th birthday. Joannie opened the envelope on her 18th birthday, inside it was a picture of Don Flamenco. Joannie recognized him when he was fighting against Lil Mac. On the back is were her mother wrote:
"Joannie, this picture is your father, before you were born I adored him, He was the most hansome man I ever met. He loved me too that he took me out on a romantic dinner. But he never came home to support me, because he was always busy with his boxing career. Especially after he lost the boxing title, I never got the chance to tell him I was pregnant. All he cared about was carrying that belt. I hope that one day you could face him in a match to knock the sense out of him. Take care my baby."

Now she know that Don Flamenco is her father, she trainned hard so that one day she will face him. One-on-one agaisnt his father in a boxing match.
